‘Sanctuary’
Installation Derelict Mental Hospital, London. Exploring the notion of asylum as a sanctuary, drawing parallels between a sinister religious and psychiatric tradition. The colour is symbolic of many things including religion, water, God, heaven and tranquillisation. Fire represents life force and it’s destructive powers.
