  • ‘Sanctuary’
    Installation Derelict Mental Hospital, London. Exploring the notion of asylum as a sanctuary, drawing parallels between a sinister religious and psychiatric tradition. The colour is symbolic of many things including religion, water, God, heaven and tranquillisation. Fire represents life force and it’s destructive powers. To me it represents the man, the repetitious stamp of the King, and uniformity of the faded male image reflects the passing of the nameless conscripts.
