Being a creative entrepreneur is mainly about taking risks, understanding trends and innovation, having a good grasp of the law, but most importantly its about charisma, personal presence, being able to engage, persuade and negotiate. I regard negotiation workshops where students actually secure a good opportunity and a fare deal for themselves as an essential key to success. Before artists, designers and photographers are ready for this real life exercise, its vital that particular knowledge areas are explored and practical skills are mastered.
